Buying new SC2400 tractor and accessories. Got any ?

I'm likely Buying new Yanmar SC2400 tractor & implements. Got any new ones to sell?

Its likely in the next 2 weeks or less I'll own a NEW Yanmar SC2400 sub compact tractor. I've been looking around and found a couple available. It seems having looked at several other sub compact tractor brands, that the SC2400 by Yanmar offers a good deal of abilities but for less money because it is the end of the product model line. New is new - and a full 5 year warranty looks pretty good - even if the model year is less than 2015

. While I liked the look of the new Yanmar 221 etc.. - its more money and a couple features short of the SC2400. But I'd be happy to listen to other's opinions on the SC2400 as well . . . . I still have time to reconsider to other ideas or brands.

Accessory and Implement attachments are a bit confusing. I've found there is a SB52 snowblower and a SB45 snowblower choices for the same unit. Anyone know why 2 would exist instead of one choice? Is one a better consideration or newer model than the other ?

Quick hitch or quick attach abilities to the front of the SC2400 are a bit confusing too. If the front loader uses such a device for the bucket - are there other items that use the same loader/bucket quick hitch/attach feature (like for pallet forks etc.)?

I understand the front Snow blower, front Snow plow, and broom can use a quick hitch (when loader is taken off of course). But are there different quick hitches that work with some accessories that don't work with others on the front end (snowblowers vs plow blades vs brooms etc.) ?

Again - I'm open to other tractor ideas, accessory choices, etc.., but I do like the dual hydraulic pumps concept, the Diff ability, and the ability to move between low and high while still running. I also like that the SC2400 is a true sub compact and not like the LS/NH, Mahindra, and Cabela's products which are larger sized tires and more like a Cut size instead of a Scut size. Tight turning, hill cutting ability for lawns, and easy on off operation of accessories are all important for my needs. And good price for new full warranty equipment is right up there in my desires too.

Anyone have input on how the pto operated bagger works on the SC2400?
Maybe as you're reading this - you have NEW accessories (or very lightly used) accessories still in your inventory that work on the SC2400 that you want to sell. I'm listening. PM me. March 30th or before is decision time.

I have a 2009 Sc2450 Cub/Yanmar tractor bought it new and really like it have had zero problems with it.
As far as snowblowers go I have the SB52 front mount blower and it is great very well built, I beleive the SB45 is no longer avalaiable but I could be wrong, it was under built and could not handle the power of the tractor.
As far as I know Cub/Yamnar 2400-2450 series tractors they do not make a quick attach bucket or accesories.
Here is a link of a company that does:CUB CADET TACH-N-GO I think someone on here has one maybe they will let us know how well it works.
As far as the front quick attach it will only work with Cub/Yanmar or Yanmar attachments, snowblower,plow.
The pto bagger system is run off the rear pto that runs an impeller it carry the debries into the bags.

Thanks for the link and comments. At this point I can still purchase new SB45 snowblowers as well as the sb52. But I understand that they use different hitch/attach units.

Do you use any other implements with your sb52's hitch?

I would be interested in finding a new sc2450 but as yet I haven't heard of anyone having them in their inventory. But there has been no difficulty finding new sc2400s at this point. March 30th or before I decide on brand and model (after waiting and watching for 8 years). Thanks so much for your opinion and your link.

Its just one tractor for me . . but it will be my first and with retirement only a decade away . . . I think its time

If I were you I would get the SB52 it is built alot stronger then the SB45, plus you can use the SB52 hitch of other attachments.
On I do not use the hitch for other attachments just the SB52 Blower.
I know a guy who has the plow blade that uses the same hitch as the SB52, he likes it alot.

I have the tach n go quick attachment fast easy to use great unit.
built my own forks and its a 30 second change over! pricey but beats the hammer and pin punch all to pieces
do NOT get a SB45 I had one of the first made its the same base blower as their walk behind 45 and the attachment that goes on their garden tractors. the SC2400 is capable of bending it in a pretzel, might be ok for occasional snow small area home use, but I do about 7 or 8 hrs of cleaning after a snow storm in 8 attempts it never made a full cleaning. The SB52 in 3 years has never needed more than a sheer bolt. I once took apart a brick flower planter where a property manager was guiding me thru 2 ft of snow on a new account took the entire 18 inch tall planter out, saw part of a brick come out the shoot shut it down replaced a bolt finished the day. good unit

Have had good results with the tractor rebuilding a 6ft broom to put on the loader arms right now.

I do have some pics up on here of the tach n go system or look at theirs. it is a well built piece of machinery
I do use the forks a lot on mine is the reason I bought it
