I'm considering buying a used 254 Nortrac that doesn't have a loader. It seams that if your not buying the loader at the time of the tractor purchase, your paying alot more for it. Northern sells a loader with a tractor for an additional $2500, but purchased seperate it costs $4500. It seams to me that since I'm saving them the trouble of installing it, it should cost about the same. Can well made loaders be had for $2500 or under? And as far as brands that I know of there's Koyker, Great Bend, Spirit, and then Jinma, any other? Thanks.

Give Chip (Artrac) or Tommy (Affordable) a call for a price on a drop shipped Koyker 140.

The price is higher as aftermarket because a successful dealer needs to make a profit on each transaction. We routinely quote loader at or near cost when sold with a tractor (if we are making some profit on the tractor portion). to order ans ship one loader is not worth doing if you cant make some margin. the price you quote seems a bit high for they type of tractor you msention.

I am in China know and will be back by Friday and could quote a loader drop shipped to you if you wish

thanks

Hello Chip, yes when you get back and you have a chance, I would like a quote. I'm near St. Paul, Minnesota my zip code is 55082. I not sure about sizes but I think the 140 and 160 both fit the 254, so I'd be interested in costs for both. Thanks, and have safe travels.

Are Koyker loaders shipped to the end user from the dealers site or from the factory? I suppose it depends on the situation but it might be worth it to buy through a dealer, but for me to pick it up at the factory. I'm not sure how high freight charges would run but it would be a fun day trip for me to pick it up. Thanks again.

We can also quote you on a Koyker loader drop shipped,Chip is right we have to make a little money on it.Shipping from the factory to you would be inexpensive because your close.

Hey Tommy, just because I am 13 time zones and half a world away doesnt mean you can jump in on my deal! :). Another difference in the price is that when we order for our tractors, we order a truck load to match a tractor shipment (about 90 percent of our tractors are sold with loaders. this reduces the freight cost drastically on a per unit basis.

bootstrap, seriously you should get more than one quote. I'll have to check on Koykers pickup policy but they are pretty cordial to deal with so I would place my bet on them letting you pick yours up. I have entertained sending my gooseneck trailer to save some freight, but the time cost is higher than freight...

Wether you buy from us or affordable, you will be happy with the 140 loader on that tractor. Installation is very easy too so long as you have help to put the loader frame on the brackets after they are bolted on.

When I bought my Branson 3510 tractor 2 years ago I didn't think I would need a loader to cut grass and box blade. Well Santa just brought me one!! He left the invoice with the owners manual, for a BL 10 with bucket it was $3195.00 plus tax. Gives you a comparison.
