Hayden,
I read this thread and also your original thread on your new purchase (congrats by the way).

I am getting ready to purchase a
L5740 cab tractor as well and was told by the dealer that I couldn't get a backhoe if I had the cab version. I guess he meant I couldn't get the Kubota backhoe because obviously the Bradco and Woods ones work, at least. Not sure why he didn't offer that up, but I plan to ask him about it tomorrow.
I was planning to get 2 rear remotes and was wondering whether I should go ahead and get all 3 remotes at this point if I plan to get a backhoe in the future. I read the comment on remotes in your original thread, but being new to the tractor world, I didn't completely follow the explanation. I think you mentioned that you actually had 5 sources of hydraulics and only used a portion for the backhoe. Basically I'm wondering whether the Bradco bh, if I got that model, would utilize all 3 remotes or what the minimum it would utilize would be (without having to bungee the control lever open).
Also, I'm assuming the answer is "no" but does adding the backhoe in any way affect your Kubota warranty or is this a "sanctioned" attachment? Also, should I expect my Kubota dealer to be able to install the bh, or would I need to do myself or have a Bradco dealer do it?
One last thing. Did you need to add any additional weight to the front because of the size of the BH, or was the FEL sufficient ballast?
Thanks!
Dave
