Buying a BX 25

So i have narrowed it down to the BX 25
I got a quote today for the BX 25 with a 54"
Mower deck for 18,350.00

Is that a decent price for a brand new tractor

That's about what I paid for mine, with a 60" mower plus the 12" bucket. It came with the 8".

Yes, that sounds about right. I paid $22,000 for mine with the mower deck and a front mount snowblower last April. I am in NB.

Are front mount snow blowers that much

It must be the PTO shaft that jacks the price

I think I gave 17500$ with 12" bucket but no mower deck also the taxes were around 1000$ I don't have a tax number I do love my bx25 though I use it for more then I thought I would. Sometimes me and my 2 year old son will just ride around on it

FWIW, Kubota is coming out with a new version of the BX25 in the near future. In any case, I'm sure you will be happy with your purchase!

Massey-Ferguson SCUTs use the same front-mount blower as Kubota (they're made in Canada, I believe), and yes, they're expensive, but yes, they do work extremely well and are well-made. When I bought my GC2310 I ordered it with a blower. I think it may have added $3000 or so. Total package, including FEL, BH and blower was $22,000 in 2007 (a financed price).

Other than a few shear pins, have had zero trouble with blower. WBB

Just for comparison sake, call Ben Bern Farm and Industrial in Wainfleet, ON Toll-free: 1-800-387-4713. They're a great dealership that moves a lot of Kubota products and they're only 2.25 hours from you. Even if you don't buy from them, you will be able to better evaluate the price you were already given.

According to Kubota's website, it says that it's coming out in "Fall 2012". Don't know exactly when that is.
