I am in the market for a cab tractor, looking at the New Holland T4.75 vs the LS XU6168CPS. The 4.75 appears to be a little larger than the LS. In researching LS, I found an "MT5" tractor they make that appears by pictures online to be a powerstar (T4.75) twin. Knowing that LS makes and has made several models for New Holland, Does anyone know how the Powerstar would compare to the 6168? Also does anyone have any information on the MT5 tractors and if their are any plans to bring them to the US? Thanks.

BTW, I have been quoted $33,500 for the LS XU6168CPS, and 6 year warranty. That's complete 4x4 with loader. The cheapest I have found the T4.75 is $43,500 with air seat and no sun roof but with 2 remotes and loader. 2 year warranty.

Obviously the LS price and Warranty really make me look hard at them even though I don't see much about this particular tractor online in forums or Youtube etc.

On LS global website there is a video of the MT5. It has a fiat engine. Thanks narrator on the video is pretty bad.

From what I read on Tractordata the T4.75 has a tier 3 engine rated at 74HP compared to the XU6168CPS which has a tier 4 engine at 68HP. Specs and capacities are similar. Tractordata claims the t4.75 was only made from 2012-2014.
From your description, are you saying the T4.75 you found has no sunroof. Does that mean no cab? If so then in my mind I'd go for the XU with cab at a better price.
There are a few 6168 owners here on the forum. Do a google search for XU6168CPS at top of page to see posts by members and ask them questions. You can also call a dealer such as RCO Tractor and speak to them about the 6168.

In daily use, I don’t think you’d see much difference between the two. The $10K price difference is pretty steep with a 2 year vs. 6 year warranty.
The NH is a little bigger, but the only thing it has that my 6168 CPS doesn’t have (but wish it did have) is the buddy seat. The 4 year old rides on the shelf on the left side or stands and holds onto the door rail where he can honk the horn.

The sunroof is an option the cabbed Powerstar Series NH tractors. About a $1,000 add-on from the dealers I have spoken with.

I have been following your thread for a while and have read all of your posts since you bought your 6168. I appreciate the insight as there is not a lot out there on this tractor with compact tractors being more affordable and more popular there is a lot of info on them.

Ya, the buddy seat really stinks! Can't justify $10k-12k for a buddy seat though! You should do some YouTube stuff with your tractor when you bust it out of winter storage

My dealer has the MT5 brochure on hand. I would have to think they are already in the states.

I had a friend purchase a NH T4.75,kept it less than a year. Assembled in Turkey if I remember right.
No brainer to go to the LS.
