Rear Finish Mower Bush Hog EFM 480 - what's a good price for sale?

I have a Bush Hog EFM 480 mower. I have no idea how old it is. What's a good price to try to sell it at?

Is it best to sell separately from the Kubota B2400 (only 730 hours) that I am also trying to sell?

And finally, I realize this is the attachments forum, but is there an average price I might try to seek for the B2400? It has new tires (big Goodyear lawn-tread tires in the back and 6-ply Carlise in the front).

Would help to have pic's of both. Any problems with the tractor or mower? Generally you should get a better price selling them separately. It seems when you "bundle" a package, buyers expect to get a price break. I take it that the B2400 is two wheel drive, with no FEL?

Right now is the best time to be selling the mower because mowing season is cranking up (pun intended), so you should ask for top dollar. Just taking a wild guess for a decent 4ft mower without seeing it, I would say to start at $750, and go down from there. If you get no interest for a while, drop it $50 for a week at a time. Keep dropping the price until you start getting some interest on it, you will eventually find the market value for that mower (in its present condition) in your area. This also depends on how quickly you want to sell it, if you are in no hurry, then you can hold out for top dollar. If you need the money then you can come down more/quicker on the price.

I really can't help you with the tractor as I am not a Kubota person, so maybe some folks here can give better advice on that. You might also do a search for that tractor on Tractorhouse.com and see if you can get some comparative pricing there. Good luck!!

The Kubota is 4-wheel drive, no FEL. Also, thank you so much for the Tractorhouse.com suggestion. Good stuff there.
