Kubota L2501
My Kubota L2850 doesn't have quick attach bucket and I want to add it. I found these latch pin assemblies Skid Steer Quick Tach Conversion Adapter Latch Box Weld On QTK 793573218735 | eBay .
I would have to cut the pin brackets off the bucket and re use them along with some plate.
Then I will weld these to the bucket: Universal Skid Steer Quick Tach Weld Mount Brackets - Free Shipping - Skid Steer Attachment Depot

I just can't see a pre built assembly being worth 899 or so they are asking for them.
Any links to your build or pics would be appreciated.
Thanks,
Dave

I have converted 3, that said they were complete units w/ flush flat plate surfaces ready for the brackets removed from bucket. Kubota uses a unique pin on style, believe their bucket mod is difficult. Bracket removal from koyker and IH was simple, bought assempled adapters from titan. Hayspear, more expensive, but arrives w/ adjustable brackets installed. Then weld adapter plate to implement/buckets, bought my QA adapters and adapter plates from titan . Lt guage adapter plates about $85, QA adapter around $300. Hayspear about $600. Modifying kubota bucket will require some T-B-N assistance. (Perhaps older style kubota buckets??)

Would advise against component build of your own QA adapter unless very skilled. Not a. e -bay fan!!

Should have modified these loaders years ago, world of instant convenience right before your eyes!!!

The kubota had factory QA, price from dealer for your tractor? Did you inquire?

I would post this under Customization, get more response!!!!

I did a l3410 several years back never regretted it. I built the entire unit from scratch instead of buying the latch boxes, but either way you do it you’ll not regret it.

I appreciate your input. I'm fairly skilled. I was just using ebay as an example, I can buy the latch pins other places.
I'll search the customization section.

I have a kubota L2900. I bought the titan quick attach pins and and made an adapter to go onto my tractors loader. It worked fairly well With my forks and homemade Speer. I ran into a couple of issues. I ended up buying a skid steer bucket because it was easier than modifying the original kubota pin on bucket. With that being said the bucket was over sized and I scooped a load of sand one day. The sand bent the plates with the latch pins. Nothing fit right since. Whenever I would try to put down pressure on my forks or bucket to back blade the bucket would pop off. The other side to it is the geometry you have to build in to get your tipping angles. I didn’t have it right and when my forks were on I had to raise them about 3 ft off the ground before I had any tip back.
I broke down this past fall and ordered the adapter for my Tractor. I got it through MAST equipment in Ohio. The adapter is built heavy enough I don’t think my tractor could tear it up if I tried. After fighting with my original set up for 2 years I wish I would have spent the money sooner. It was about 800 with tax.

I built a quick attach from scratch for my B21 a couple years ago. Works fine. Roll back is a important consideration. You need some roll back at ground level, you also need good tipping at full height into a dump trailer. For backhoe use you need to be able to turn the front bucket completely upside down at ground level, to anchor the front of the tractor. So all these things need to be worked out.

I used ordinary quarter inch steel, and have had no problems with bending. I used a Kubota loader bucket as a jig to dimension the quick attach. Rather than hand operated pins I used small hydraulic cylinders. The writeup is here on TBN in the build it yourself forum.

Several years ago I did as a few others had done and ordered a Kubota QA adapter. It wasn't made specifically for my loader but the measurements were close enough to work great. As I said, I have used it for all of my QA attachments for several years without any problems.

It cost me a little over $400 and it pinned right on however I did have to use about $5 worth of washers for spacers.

I’ve never built one but it doesn’t look very complicated if you’ve got basic metal working equipment. I’m betting even if you don’t you could stop by a metal fabrication shop and get one built for less than $800. I usually tell them I’m in no hurry to wait for a slow day and it’s usually cheaper that way.
