Building a three point to SSQA question?

I'm going to take a quick hitch and attach a SSQA plate to it, for using boom poles and blades or what not on my front loader. Just curios if I should just attach the SSQA plate flat to the quick hitch or if I should kick the bottom out some to provide a little more roll back angle?

I have thought of doing the same and would think you would have to examine the stroke of your top link and what you would be using and do the math. What sort of attachments were you thinking of using?

There is not going to be a top link, this is not for the rear of the tractor it's for the front loader to hook three point equipment onto it. I've seen them built both ways just not sure if one is better then another. I'm leaning toward adding some extra roll back ability sort of like a lot of the pallet forks you see. As for attachments mainely a boom pole , blade , carry all etc. would be used.

Land Pride makes a SSQA Quick Hitch. You may be able to look at their website and/or brochures to see how they did it.

Land Pride SH35 Skid Steer 3-Point Hitch

Considering the range of motion with the FEL, you could probably weld the QA at just about any angle you want.

While you are at it, you should weld on a draw bar receiver too. Land Pride did this and I think it is a great idea. (I'm sure lot of others have done this too.)

I am thinking about getting the Land Pride unit, but it is $1000!

uless you already have the mateial.it might be cheaper and better to buy one already made . ATVEXPESS on ebay makes a nice one . QA and 3 pt all in one . It even has a receiver. I couldn't manage without mine. I'm always finding new uses for it

That is awesome! I have been wanting one of these for moving trailers and implements around... but could not justify the Land Pride $$$ for what I needed to do.

The Land Pride looks much more substantial, however I don't need anything "beefy" to just move stuff around.

That is awesome! I have been wanting one of these for moving trailers and implements around... but could not justify the Land Pride $$$ for what I needed to do.

The Land Pride looks much more substantial, however I don't need anything "beefy" to just move stuff around.

Search po' boy backhoe and see the fel back hoe i made from a potato plow using that plate.

Thanks guys for the input, I allready have the quick hitch gave 65.00 for it and have a pair of SSQA plates that I built a while back from stuff I had, so looks like I'll go a head and build. I thought about the hitch but I have a trailer mover with a reciver hitch and all I use on my rear quick hitch so If I need that I can just hook it to the front quick hitch.
