Yanmar FX24D replaced with Massey GC2400
I've tried everything, snow blower, rear blade, FEL and now will try a snow plow. I am building this plow from existing parts, 1) a Kubota quick attach, 2) a Kubota snow blower female shoe, and 3) a 54" blade Craigs List special. The blade is currently a manual angle change.

You can see the mock up of the plow, the quick attach on the tractor, the two connected, and several looks at the tight space issue, and the cut and grind resolution. If you note there is a difference in the hydraulic hose ends. MF hoses have male ends and Kubota have female. I will have to change them. That single piece of metal is the end of the tractor quick attach I cut off.

Nice I build one for the front loader, I put conveyor belting on for a wear edge , great for gravel or paved driveways. Also for your exhaust, try and see if 1" electrical conduit fits the pipe,, I used a piece with a bend on my BX , about 6-7 inches long, and am able to tap it in and take it off, but no soot on the tractor now.

Thanks Lam. I have lots of conduit laying around.

I haven't stopped, but it is hunting season and the grass and garden still need attention. What I have done is cut the extraneous pieces off the female shoe (Kubota snow blower part). Changed the hydraulic fittings and hooked them up. OF COURSE I tested them! Did another mock up with the angle cylinder positioned. I will need to cut the push tubes to length, right shorter than the left. Left supports the angle change cylinder. I also needed to add a ~inch to the front frame to allow for the quick attach to lock onto it.

The fabricating is done and the blade is tested on my stone drive. Nothing broke. I cut the right push tube at the back of the female show leaving ~1/4" to weld. I cut off the end of the original push tube, and used the section from the cut right side to center brace the original push tubes. I also left ~1/4" on that piece to weld the female shoe on. I will need to paint the old plow (MF red of course) and attachment points (black) added for the angle change hydraulic cylinder.

I think I have ~$650 into this build with the major components (tractor quick attach, female shoe for attachments, and hydraulic cylinder/hoses) all new. The plow blade was $100 and most of added metal attachments re-purposed from the original blade or scrap from my metal bin.

I'll take pics tomorrow to show complete and already usable but not final painted plow.

Without paint and close ups of the attachments points. It goes up and down and right and left hydraulically. I do apologize for the welds. I'm self taught and it's been a couple of years now.
