Like it. I may have to build me one come spring. Too many other irons in the fire now.

Great carry all. I have been considering something like this for some time. Many ideas from these forums. I woul like to show my project progress to get some feedback and ideas. Not sure of how to go about this? 20190131_142749.jpeg

Nice work. In fact it's almost too nice to hang off the back of a tractor!

Thanks. After many searches and idea changes this is what I came up with. Inspired by many projects like yours and ultimately by the Bigtoolrack.com. Still a work in progress. 20190124_201241.jpeg

Mine is very similar to yours.
A few minor differences: I put "U" channel down the back edge of the side panels so I could slip the tailgate boards in and out easily. I also put a support 2X4 inside each side panel so I could place a bench seat across in case I ever needed to transport a helper back into the woods. Finally, I sloped the tops of my side panels down a bit toward the back in hopes that this would help with backwards visibility (I don't think it matters very much, though).
Although the TSC carryall is rated at 1000#, after a year or so of lugging heavy loads of round-wood, I needed to have a neighbor weld gussets on a couple of the frame joints...the welds it comes with are pretty minimal (not all the abutting edges on mine even had been welded). Adding a chainsaw scabbard and some tool tubes on the front and this is a really useful attachment for a multitude of tasks.

NICE.

I used the TSC frame as well when I built mine this fall. I added a boxed in section at the very rear that carries 500 lb of lead ingots for ballast. I still have plenty of room for tools, chain saws etc in the forward section. I built my box to be removable from the frame so I can use the carry all to move cut down pallets of firewood. That required adding an attachment for a ratchet strap to keep the box from moving forward and backwards. Side to side movement is restricted by the fit of the box stringers to the carry all arms. When the box is off the carry all, it sits on two HF dollies and I can move it around without much effort.

This year, I will be adding a $50 HF ATV winch to replace the top link attachment. That will allow me to pivot the carry all when handling pallets without having to get off the tractor to adjust the top link. Obviously, not needed it you have a hydraulic top link but this is a $75 solution.

Very impressive! I see from the earlier picture that you welded a stronger frame to it, which makes sense with half a truck bed attached. Well done!

The bench seat is a nice idea! Good to know about the welds. I'll keep an eye on mine. Can you post a picture or two of yours?
