Quite a while back I got a Loader Buddy bucket for specialty use. I recently had some logging done and had the opportunity to really try it out on the terrible mess left behind. I was very impressed by the amount it would bring out of a tangle by just pushing in and lifting .. and then carry a long distance to a pile without losing anything appreciable. The tractor is equipped with a Tilt Tatch which helps surely, but the deep throat of the bucket and big teeth are a tremendous benefit. When ordering the bucket I had it made for SS QA and reinforced slightly at the top attachment because I planned to attach a bucket grapple to it. ... I made that attachment after this series of pics and have since done debris work in the woods severe enuf to bend the grapple multiply while repeatedly strengthening it. I think Ive got the grapple strong enuf now. The bucket has not been phased in the least.

...Couldn't figure out how to thumbnail it.
Two ways to do it... Click on the "paperclip" (see photo) or scroll down below the Submit / Preview post buttons, to the "Manage Attachment" button (also see photo). Then browse your hard drive for the photos...

You can practice by posting your grapple photos :D

So in those pics you don't have the grapple on it also, just the loader buddy? Looks like it can handle a fair bit of brush just by itself.

Yeah! It combines a deep throat that can accept a lot of stuf, with teeth that wedge in between an entangle some of it making it harder for the load to get away. As long as youre not too overbalanced to one side or the other youre good to go. Use with the grapple sure helps in that case if the tractor has ballast enuf to control the off balance condition safely. I will post pics of grapple work next time I use it.
