I just finished adding a lip to the top of my bucket to help keep the dirt in it.Not sure of the proper name for it but I will call it a spill guard.I didn't like the dirt falling out the back of the bucket and hitting the tractor.Quite often rocks would fall and get jammed in the bucket linkage. This probably won't stop this entirely but should certainly stop a lot of it.I noticed most larger equipment has buckets made this way but most CUTs don't.I used 3/16" steel for everything but the pipe which is 1 and 1/4" schedule 80.I figure I added less than 50 pounds total to the weight of the bucket which shouldn't make a lot of difference, especially considering I don't have the weight of a quick detach system.I wasn't real fussy with the paint job as the bucket will be back in the dirt very soon.I have added some photos.
