Hello - I have a Kubota B3200 with 54" bucket and Kubota QA. Also have EA 42" pallet forks. I have lots of wood on my property and just had a commercial tree company here for a day and half taking down big, dead Siberian Elms. They saved the bigger stuff and I will cut that up for firewood. The pallet forks work fine to move those logs around. But I constantly have smaller branches, bark and all sorts of tree debris I want to move. The 54" bucket works fine, but this stuff is light and fluffy and weighs very little so I could use a bigger bucket and make fewer trips. I don't need a grapple; just a larger fairly light duty bucket. I've envisioned something lighter metal, maybe even perforated to cut down on bucket weight but just wider and maybe deeper to handle smaller branches and debris; lots of small stuff. I've done a fair amount of looking on accessory sites and have not seen anything like this so thought I'd throw out the question to see if anyone else know of this type of bucket that would fit the LA 504.

Thanks.

I use a trailer for that sort of thing. I load by hand, but you could maybe do it with the loader bucket. Haul the trailer to the work area, unhook and park it, load with the FEL, they grab the trailer again to go elsewhere. With a trailer mover on the 3 point and a trailer jack on the tongue, you could hook and unhook from the seat if you didn't need to worry about the hitch ball latch and chains.

If you ever used a grapple you would wonder why you never bought one years ago. Cleaning up brush is a breeze I can tilt the grapple down as far as it will go and keep the prongs right at ground level move along slow and it will pick up almost everything in its path then close the grapple pick it up and go.haul logs or whatever there is so many uses for a grapple saves tons of back breaking work I will never ever be without one ever again.

I put a grapple on my tractor a few years ago...hands don the most useful implement I have. Used it this past weekend to pick up all the piles of branches and drop them at the fire. It's so easy and fast..it's like cheating.

+1 for the grapple. If you were picking up split and cut firewood a rock bucket would work nicely. Never tried one on brush. Bradco makes this style of bucket.

Get a small light grapple. Mine cost $1000 the 3rd function was another $900 but you can make do with a diverter valve set up (about 1/2 the cost) for occasional use.

For me it was a no brainer. Needed something that will work for 15 years (69 now so not a long time to live). Can sell the grapple for $500+ anytime. Cost per year under $100. Like I said...no brainer for the time and work savings. I have 32 loggers cords of wood to process but use it for picking up up trees and branches as I clear land and after storms.

For that little stuff you need something that will slide under and pick up the debris when you curl and lift. There is one picture on this thread that would be perfect for what you want. Old leaf Springs welded onto a carrier that attaches to the bucket will also work. Or, bolt the springs to the bucket. You can also use them to pick up logs. Make sure you have some bars on the back top of the bucket so logs can’t roll back and sit on your lap.
