Looking for tips on resealing my L35 BT900 stick cylinder. I have a shop manual that shows some special tools needed for this work. Messicks has the seal kit for about $107 but the special tools as me stumped. One tool calls for reshaping a hard seal after it is installed over the piston. That one has me concerned. I know the new seal kit has some different style seals but not sure if they still need all these tools. One tool is for removing the rod end cap. The cap has a couple of holes that the tool fits in to spin the gland off. My BT900 serial number is 14936 which I believe was built around 2000.
