Brush Killer, what kills all brush & weeds etc?

Have Brush Killer left over from 2 years ago. Was stored outside shed and probably froze each winter. However I think it still should be good. Wondering what TBNers think?

Have a vacant fenced in lot. brush & vines growing up the fence. grass, weeds, bushes growing thru gravel. I want to clear for parking cars in secure fenced in and want to kill all growth.

Is killer listed above good for what I need? Is it too old to be useful? Would anyone have a better suggestion for anything that can be bought from TSC or other farm suppliers?

It should be still viable Ive never worried about Herbicide expiration . If you wanting to kill everything I suggest using some glyphosate with it. The 24d will not kill the grass but the Gly will .

I find you need to wet brush with 24D to kill it. The leaves you hit will dry but not always kill the bush. I have used 24D that old with good results.

I would check with other suppliers in addition to TSC -- chances are that you can beat the TSC price. I paid $37 for 2.5 gallons of 41% glyphosate at Rural King this spring -- I think the TSC was more than $50.

Unfortunately, while gly is good for killing the current crop, you will just have another crop of the same type in a few years. There are soil sterilants
that would keep the parking lot clean, I'd hesitate to use them.

I use tractor supply brand. farmworks 41% glyphosate.
You can believe this or not. I drilled several holes in the base of a large sweet gum tree. I poured this stuff full strength into those 1/2'' holes every day for about 2 weeks. It performed as expected and killed the tree

I kill the stumps of trees that I fall with normal gly solution. Cut tree, wait one year, spray the sprouts. Sometimes it takes another dose the next year.

I have used this and it works. Just be careful when using these herbicide chemicals. Protect yourself...i always wear latex gloves, keep off of your skin. First hand knowledge from being exposed to Agent Orange in Thailand during Vietnam...its a gift that keeps on giving !
