No the part is not available from New Holland individually. I have to buy a complete new seat at $462.00. I think I can make something similar. Anyone have an old seat laying around. LOL. It is part #11 on the parts page of the seat.

If it's steel it can be welded back together. Perhaps even fixed if it's cast aluminum. If it's that white pot metal crap probably not. For that kind of money I'd be making my own out of steel.

Seems to me it is a hard plastic. I can make something easily out of metal.

I'd try to copy it but with metal. At first look, it looked like cast to me but when you mentioned plastic I could see the pattern in the plastic.

So what is the point of a parts breakdown if the only part available is the entire assembly?

Just curious, is the picture from Messicks? What's the part number?

Also, because of the age of the tractor, it could be it's no longer available as a separate part, but it once was.

I looked at mine and it is metal. My friend came by and we both agreed it should be made from steel.

The manual for my 33D has a seat rebuild kit (part #86530936) that Messicks list for $154.53. It looks an awful lot like yours, but metal. If you gave me your best guess on the width of yours I would mike mine for reference.

After looking at my manual, it is for the 29D as well. :duh:

The TC25D, TC29D and TC33D use the same seat.

The picture is from my dealer. I called Messicks and they told me the same. Part is only available with the complete seat.

There is no parts number for it anymore.

I can measure mine and post later today. I am going to take two flat plates of metal, put two large spacers in it so the adjustment bolt can go in, drill the hole for the pin and I should be set. It won't take much just time. The tractor is 14 years old.

Frustrating they make the part for the seat, make a few extra for after sale
