Broken rear axle

Using my broom to move some snow yesterday and apparently hit something and broke the left rear axle. Appears like it broke a joint inside the inner cv boot where it comes out of the rear end housing. Talked to the shop and they said it probably wouldn't hurt it to drive it a little. Need to get it hauled in for repair, but more snow today so gonna wait til the roads clear and load it on my trailer. Oh and the part will run about $400.00 so looking at the best part of a grand to get it fixed.

You have my sympathies.

When something breaks, it is usually best to not operate it until it gets fixed.

Otherwise, you may have other items to fix as well.
