Broken piston on FEL

hi

i broke the male threaded nipple on the piston on my FEL (JD410). i might try and have it welded but i was wondering if this is replaceable if i don't weld it.

in other words, is buying a replacement piston expensive (it seems like most JD parts are expensive)?
