- Briggs and Stratton Storm Responder 5500
Hi,
I have a Briggs and Stratton Storm Responder 5500 that's started well the couple of times I've used it, but let it sit too long without running it, and now it won't start. I think I need to clean out the carburetor, but I can't figure out how to get the black plastic protective shield that sits over that part of the engine off. I've gotten the two screw off the front, and the shield is held on by the nut on the back, but its in a really bad place to get off. Are there any tricks to getting this off?
Thanks,
Jon
