I was bushhoging yesterday and stopped to clean the screen that covers the radiator, when i opened the hood i noticed the strap that goes around the air cleaner was broken at the bottom where the two bolts hold it on. I seem to remember some discussion of this on the site, and i think it was mentioned that there was an updated strap, or a recall on these. When I called the dealer to get another one, he's not heard of this being a problem. Was also wondering if this is a warranty item? I searched for the thread that addressed this, but apparently it was more than a year ago. Anyone remember this?

I had the same problem with my bx got a new one broke again so I used two heavy duty plastic cable straps for A/C no more problems. Hope this helps.
