The Weatherman is calling for winter weather. The long lines at the grocery store and the absence of bread and milk from the shelves convinced me that it was time to put the snowblower on. How folk know that this is it I can't say. I spent a pleasant hour in the garage taking the mower and bagger off and bolting the blower on. Still looks like it could be rain to me but you know the smart rats get the bread and milk. I'm ready :D:D:D How about you?

A foot of snow in New York barely gets on the news anymore.

But best wishes to you and that blower. I'm sure it'll get you through.

When the news calls for 1" of snow around here, the bread and milk are all gone.

Heck, they even cancelled the Christmas day parade one day because they were litterally calling for 1" of snow (and didn't get).

Give me the good old days when it took at least 18" of snow for school to be cancelled instead of just the threat of snow:D

Hiya,

I thought that was a New England oddity. Hmmmm, I guess it's spread everywhere now.

My wife got both milk and bread last night because we are getting more snow Saturday night... I don't argue anymore.

Tom

He's just putting the blower on now? We've been plowing for a month and a half already. Winter weather has been a daily occurance a hundred miles north of PA.

I lived in Philly for 3 years and watching the locals "freak" at the first sign of snow and buy all the milk and bread from the stores made me smile. They would never make it through a real winter. :D

Heck - all but given up on the white stuff here in So. MD - been a few years since anything significant.

Even removed the RB and put the BH on today to buck some downed trees - maybe that and the PJs inside out will bring some.....

Projected snow overnight was supposed to be 6 to 8". Less than 1" at 5 am.
Do I take all the stuff wife bought back to the store today? :D

Looks like just a dusting this morning so it looks like I may have been a little hasty with the snowblower. I was starting to hyperventilate a little when I realized I didn't have any polish blackberry brandy but I'm ok now. :D:D:D
