For sale is a barely used Brave VH1724GC, 24 Ton Log Splitter. I purchased this unit brand new about 2 years ago, and have used it 3-4 times. Unit has approximately 3 hours of use. Has been stored in a climate controlled garage all of its life. Splitter is amazing, and built like a tank. The Honda GC160 Engine is smooth as silk and starts with only 1-2 pulls. Has 2 additional options: The fender kit and the engine protector. These add an additional $240 to the base $2,400 price with most online retailers. The company who builds this brand also builds the Iron & Oak line, which is considered the gold standard for log splitters. This unit has many of those same parts & features, such as the piston and wedge, but comes in at a lower price point. When I shopped for splitters, the Brave line was advertised as made in the USA, which was important for me. Now their website is saying that only the Iron & Oak line is made in the USA. So I'm guessing that when I purchased this unit, these were made in the USA, and now they're not. More reason to buy this one and not a new one maybe? In any case, as you can see by the photos, this unit is immaculate with some expected minor wear from its 3 hours of use. Selling because I don't use it, and have decided not to cut down any more trees on my property. You will absolutely love this machine and will not be disappointed.
