Branson Recall??

I missed a call from my Branson dealer last week. My wife remembered to tell me about it as we were driving by the place, so we swung in. I talked to my salesman, and he said he got a notice from Branson that a tractor he sold (mine) needs to come in for some kind of push rod issue. I own a '20 3515Ch. Anyone else hear anything about this??

That is the more plausible explanation to date. I would like to know what the issue is with the push rods that are being replaced.

I have heard nothing. I tried contacting Branson via their website with no reply. Must not be a major issue, my dealer still hasn't come for my machine yet.

OK so i found out some info on this push rod update, from what Branson told me this was not a true recall, what happened is they had about 50-100 of the 15 series model tractor ranging from 30-48hp have some push rods that weren't properly heat treated from a run at the beginning of this year at the factory because of this they issued a part update bulletin for the affected engines, basically if you haven't received a letter from Branson about this your tractor is not affected. as for the noise me and the head mechanic here have given ourselves grey hairs trying to find the source of this rattle, from everything we checked out we can't seem to locate a source of the noise and it has no effect on running performance. - this is cross posted from another post i made

Yup, just got off the phone with the service guy at Branson in Georgia. He said that this "problem" might not even be noticed for the entire life of the tractor, but they're being safe. He even said Branson is going to cover the cost of transporting the tractor back and forth from the dealer for this repair.
