My Branson has the two speed pto 560/760 what engine speed should I select for each of these please as it doesn’t say in the manual

You should have the markings on the tachometer. Something like PTO #1 or PTO #2.

For 540, you run the engine at 2500RPM.

The 750 position has two functions one is for 750, where you would run the engine at 2500RPM. The other is for 540Eco, you run the engine at 1800 RPM. Not many implements use 750 PTO RPM so that pretty much only gets used for 540Eco purposes. Less noise, less fuel consumption, less wear and tear.

It's not that critical that you run exactly at those RPM. Not many implements for this size of tractor are that critical about PTO RPM.

Yeah, mine has it marked on the tach like the above photo. 540E is about 1800-1900rpm on my 4820

Thank you both, mine is only marked for 540 and no second marking
But your replies are very helpful and I will try the 1800 with the 760

Since 540/760 = 0.71, your "540e" rpms should be at about 70% of the "540” rpms, so if your 540 is at about 2500rpm that's where the 1800 comes from.
