Branson PTO won't shut off

New to this whole thread idea. I have a Branson 3510 tractor possibly 5-8 years old. After using the Bushhog one afternoon the PTO won't shut off unless I jam the PTO lever all the way up. This still takes a toll on the tractor as it bogs down still. Before the PTO wouldn't turn off it had a very small sweet spot in order to shut the PTO off. I was wondering if anyone had and experience with this problem themselves. I have searched but can only find problems with the PTO not coming on but none about them not shutting off. I am going to try and fix the problem sometime this week and am looking for insight
