Hello everyone,
I am new to the forums, not new to tractors or equipment. I am having a issue with my 4020, I have owned it about 2 months and put 15hrs on it. It has a manual transmission and shuttle shift. I was moving topsoil with the FEL and noticed that I needed to take smaller loads when tractor was warm, (run time about 30 min, moved about 5 yards of topsoil). About a week later I was moving mulch, shut down the engine and it would not restart. No crank, acted like a dead battery, tried to jump still no crank. Towed to barn found a shorted wire in the engine harness it looked like the battery feed to the ignition. I repaired the harness, checked and replaced the blown fuses, charged the battery and started the tractor. When I went to raise the FEL no hydraulics, I then tried the 3 pt and it would not work either. I am waiting on a new Hydraulic filter, any other suggestions?
Thanks,
John
