I went by my local Branson dealer and he had a 2810 in stock and a 4520 in stock. I got to look at the 10 series and 20 and I have decided that I do want the 20 series. I was looking close at the 3520 lineup but all he had for me to drive was the 4520. I do know that they are the same tractor except for the engine which the 3520 has a 3 cyl kukje engine and the 4520 has the yanmar 4 cyl. The price difference between the 2 tractors is around $2700. My main purpose for buying a new tractor is bushhoging some hills and some wet areas as well. Is the extra 10 hp and "yanmar" engine worth the extra $$
Thanks

Welcome, I have a Century 3045 which is the same as a Branson 4520. To justify the extra expense it really helps to know how much land you have and intend to work. I have 20 acres and decided I want to run bigger implements. If a 5' light duty bush hog will fit your needs, then the 3520 will too. My intentions are a 6' plus bush hog and 7' plus finish mower. A little more information and we can hone in on things for you

Good Luck

The 4520 is a hotrod. Lots of power, even right off idle. The 3520 is great, but the power difference is quite noticable. Whether it is worth the extra $'s depends on your needs....but who doesn't need more power? /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif

Thanks for the posts guys. I have two sets of property to keep cleaned up. One piece is a 6-7 acre hay field with another 1-1.5 of wet bottoms that are ditched but a 2 wheel drive ford gets stuck there every year. My second piece of property is a 10 acre bottom land that is dry but located on a creek so the river weeds grow fast and thick. I am considering a medium duty 5' hog or even a med 6'. I feel that the 3520 should meet my needs but I always like more power but the extra $2700 could go a long way on other things.
Thanks

I agree Chieff, I think the 3520 will do you just fine!

Good Luck with your decision
