g'day mike.
Remove the Clamp bolts that hold the pedals to the shaft using a small steel wedge or a suitable screwdriver drive it in the gap gently just enough to loosen the pedal ,pull the pedal of the shaft, remove the woodruff drive key and slide the shaft out you will find that the shaft is worn, it can be welded up and either ground or filed back into shape, the bushes are available from your M.F dealer gently tap the old bushes In using a suitable pin punch ,clean the holes out making sure they are free of marks or anything that could damage the new bush when you install ,the old bits of bush can be removed by taking the plate of the bottom of the clutch housing.

G'day mike.
The woodruff keys there are three, two on the right hand end of the shaft they stop the pedals turning on the shaft and on the LEFT hand end ,there is one that DRIVES the brake operating arm, which is held in place by a Pinch bolt!

there is an access plate on the bottom of the clutch housing ,it is directly below your feet when sitting on the tractor ,it is held on by either two or four bolts, spanner size 15/16 " a/f.
This plate is removed to give you access to adjust the PTO clutch.
Hope this is more clear if not I will send you a Picture .

If I remember correctly, the new bushings are split and must be tapped in with the edges together. My first attempt to install them, the edges overlapped and the shaft would not go in the bushing. I ended up making a special driver to install them. You could possibly remove one and then install the new one with the shaft in place so the bushing does not collapse. The shaft will be supported at the other end with the old bushing. You could put a hose clamp around the bushing to hold it to the shaft and gently tap both into the bore.
