I have a 2005 Mahindra 2535.
My brake lights stopped working intermittently a few weeks ago.
I attempted to follow the wiring as best as I could without dismantling the tractor. I did not see any cracks or grounding issues.
I checked the bulbs, even though they do come one when I turn on the head lights. All bulbs are good and work. I check the fuse, it is not blown and tester indicate no disconnect. As best as I could see, the wiring to the back of the fuse box appears to be connected.
I then replaced the spring loaded brake switch Absolutely no affect. Now the brake lights don稚 come on at all.
Where to now? Due to the intermittent activity at first, I figure it is likely a short or ground issue (maybe?) but have not been able to locate. I turned on my hazard/flashers last night and only one side will flash. They both flashed a few days ago. What痴 going on with the electrical system on this tractor?
Any suggestion would be greatly appreciated.
