Box Scapers vs Blades

/ Box Scapers vs Blades #21
For my B7800 with FEL and MMM I paid around $17,700 which I think was fair - although I think I could have done a little better if I really wanted to push things. Then I paid $475 (I think) for the box blade. I also got a quote on a B7510 for about $14,000 before I decided to go with the larger B7800. I believe those prices are right but I'm on vacation right now so I can't double check the price. Also, I'm not positive but your timing may be good with winter coming up and the dealers thinking about the new models that will be arriving before too long. In any case, here's a website that will give you a pretty good idea about fair prices on all of the B series tractors http://www.kazez.com/~will/kubota.html. It has served many users of this forum well and whoever designed it deserves major kudos.

I have a landscape rake and I don't use it very often but it wasn't too expensive and it is nice to have for a few jobs. In particular I think it is great at smoothing out tire marks and washboard in our gravel drive and also works well for general clean-up. It's pretty heavy duty though so I don't think it would work well at all cleaning up the lawn - though I've never tried it. I would actually like to see some sort of a garden rake attachment to use on a lawn or other delicate areas. It's probably out there I just haven't seen one yet.
