Box for BX 3PT Hitch

I came across this picture tonight on an Ebay ad. My tractor didn't come with a box like this for the 3pt pieces. My 3pt was just in the loader. Should I have gotten one of these, or is this something I can get?

that is how my hitch came to me. The BH was hooked up and the hitch was in that box in the FEL

I didn't get no box like that when I got my BX23.

My dealer preassembled mine and had it already mounted on the tractor when delivered, along with the FEL, MMM, Rear Bagger. All ready to roll. hjt

Are you saying you want this box for storage when it's not in use? It seems the tear down wouldn't be worth the effort in the long run.

If you really want one you can have mine. I just assembled my hitch last night and was going to throw the box out in the trash tomorrow. I plan on leaving the hitch assembled when it's removed from the tractor.

BX2200, BX1500 and BX2350 all came installed on tractor.

My BX1500 came with the 3 point installed the BX23 did not.
It depends on if the tractor has the BH or not.

That's howw my BX24 came. My dealer spent the time at my home assembling the kit for me and mounted the tiller to test it out before he left for the day. Nice of him to do! I threw away the box after we were done. Now I use the washer and pail handle to store the 3 pt hitch when using the BH that another TBN'er came up with.

It'd be nice to have, but it's not really a big deal. I replaced, um, I forget the name, but the arms that connect the top to the bottom, with chains, and it'd be nice to have them in a box with a special spot. I don't think I'd disassemble the whole hitch and put it in the box or anything, but a few things, like those arms and the D-shaped spacers at least.

I appreciate that! Although, I think I was more curious about the box than I was desiring one. I toss the stuff in a drawer in a toolchest, and that's working fine. But thank you.
