Bought a Power Broom - What Do I Use it For?

I know this is an old thread. I am considering a broom to address sticks in my yard. they are 1/8" to 3/4" diameter and 4" to 12" long.

Can a rotary broom move this?

My Agri Fab works well, but not 3/4" ones.

The OP has gravel and wouldn't use the broom on snow, but, for others, this could be nice especially as a finishing step. I've read (probably here) about brooming the last of the snow after plowing, and that it removes slip hazards. I have no broom and have never done it, but it sounded good when I read it.

I use a broom I made for primary snow removal. We tend to get smaller snowfalls here of up to 4" so it works great for that and clears right down to pavement most times. ..Unless there is ice below, which it can sometimes clear off some of the ice but not always.
