This past winter I got CNH to send me some info on the small Boomers. I got 2008 brochures with the T1010, T1030 as the subcompacts (20 and 26 h.p.) and the T1110 as the small 28 h.p. compact.
Now I go on the web site and see the subcompact is now the 26 h.p. 1025 and the small compact is the 28 h.p. 1030?
When did the models change? They look like nice machines, have a pretty good selection of implements for them also.

New Holland owners must not be computer people, because when you drive through the Michigan U.P. all you see are blue tractors in every driveway, yet this forum is pretty quiet?

Hear the crickets? :D I posted a question days ago and no one wants to talk to me . I think NH changed the numbers on the 2009 models. We're considering a larger tractor, a T2420, the dealer has one left from last year, and now they call it 4060. I suspect the last two digits are the engine hp since the 4060 is a 60 hp.

They are too busy using them to write! :)
Great tractors...lots of unhappy people on the numbering. I think they have changed the numbering twice in the last two years. People may not want to comment because they will change again! They have also tweaked them slightly so it can be hard to find what the equivalent tractor is from three years ago...My tractor is only available now with a turbocharger which changes the rated hp.
Good luck

NEW HOLLAND HAS CHANGED ALMOST ALL THE NUMBERS ON EVERY PIECE OF EQUIPMENT THEY MAKE. SOME OF THE REASONS ARE ON THE LARGER TRACTORS THEY HAVE CHANGED ENGINE MANUFACTORS, ON THE HAY EQUIPMENT THEY WENT TO THE MOWMAX CUTTERBAR, AND IT WAS A WAY SEPERAT THE NEW FROM THE OLD, ON THE COMPACT BOOMERS THE LAST TWO DIGITS ARE THE ENGINE HP, BUT GOOD LUCK DOING THAT TO ANY OF THE OTHER MODELS THEY MAKE NO SENSE.

I think the new numbering system is first two numbers are frame size and last two are Horsepower.

Numbering changes happen in all makes of tractors.

They say they are done changing around the numbers. The current system is what will be used going forward.

Bout time

I no longer comment on current models as I haven't had time to figure out what most of them are.
