Ford 640. NH Boomer 35.
Can anyone post pictures of a Boomer 35 (or LS R3039) under the hood? I recently bought a 2011 with a broken grill so I’m fixing it up and remedying some of the past owner’s fixes. It would be helpful to see the location of coolant lines, fuel lines, and the like as well as the underside of the hood. The front hood cross members hits the upper radiator hose so something isn’t right, but it’s been welded on before.

Thanks in advance.

Chris

If the boomer 30 is similar enough, I can take pics of mine.

I guess I don’t know enough to know if they’re similar, but I would appreciate the pictures. There’s one way to find out.

When I bought my last Kubota M9, the previous owner (I bought it used) put a pretty large dent on the hood, probably had something roll out of the FEL bucket and euchered the front grill and the brush guard and he tried cabbaging the grill guard which a repaired myself because I have the tools and I own and operated a machine and fab shop but I suck on any sheet metal or panel work so I removed the entire hood and grill assembly and took it to my local and very friendly (because I spend a ton of money there) Kubota dealer and he had his local body shop not only remove the dents but he replaced the grill and headlights too and repainted the hood and painted grill parts in Kubota orange and charged me 200 bucks for all the body work (grill was extra) and no way can I tell there was ever a dent(s) in the hood. Motto of the story is.. If you want it done right, have a professional do it. Being cheap don't work in the long run, especially with a hood that you will look at the entire time you own the machine. I want to look at a nice hood, not a cabbage job. My 2 cents.

I get what you’re saying, but I didn’t buy the thing to put behind a glass case. If I wanted a new tractor I would buy a new tractor. The nice thing about having a few dents in something is that you don’t too much care if you put one or two more in.

Boomer 30 and 35 are in the same service manual so they should be pretty similar (S4L/S4L2 engines)
