Anyone add a light to be able to see the controls on the LH side on a Boomer 2035 for night time operation? The controls disappear at night because they are not illuminated. I was thinking of a 12 V adjustable LED light that can be mounted to light that area only?

Just a suggestion. Many of us have mounted auxiliary lighting on the ROPS overhead to supplement weak headlights. I used flood style LED lights and found that the wide angle coverage of the flood style light illuminates the controls and dash very nicely. The first picture was intended to show the difference between these lights and the original headlights in another picture, and it's not back quite far enough to show the complete set of controls but you can see some of the steering wheel for an idea of what it does.

I agree, mounting axillary lighting to the ROPS is your best bet. It gives you the capability to adjust their pitch to achieve lighting the areas you may need to light.

Your Boomer 2035 should already have a "hot" lead wire running from the light switch back under the rear fenders for this purpose. NH sells work light kits that utilize these leads, but you can simply splice on to them with which ever type of light you choose.

Dang! PSDX, I think those lights would scare the "force" out of Darth Vader. Talk about some heavy duty light sabres. . .

Curious as to how to mount the lights to the ROPS.. I'm assuming you don't drill holes - so how do they mount? Been wanting to do something like that for a while, but not finding the lights I want. Also considered magnetic mount lights for occasional use, but it seems the sellers want to unload all their halogen junk before marketing magnetics in LEDs.

With all the technical marvels they have, you'd think they'd figure a way to beat the headlights blocked by loader bucket thing..

Ah.. now I see, in the hole that's in the hinge.. I'd like to mount higher up, though, because that's too low on my little machine. Thinking maybe an inventive use of a hose clamp and adding a ground wire..

Since most CUT owners opt for a loader, it would seem that the makers could do something, maybe mounting a light over the hood or built into the ROPS.

The lights I bought included an L-bracket that matched up very nicely to a unused hole in the hinge where my ROPS folds. Therefore, no magnets and no u-bolts (of the rectangular persuasion). Btw - while there are welding magnets strong enough to work nicely, do NOT use lights that have a magnetic base. These magnets are not strong enough to stick with the jolts your tractor will get going over bumpy terrain. I can also tell you there's an excellent chance that if one falls off your ROPS it will hit your head. Don't ask me why I know this...:).

Very nice mounting! Where did these lights come from? The look very neatly attached and seemingly in the right place for adequate lighting.
