Kubota L35
I have a L35 Kubota with a BT900 backhoe on it. My first tractor. The boom cylinder is leaking and the fluid is running out the bottom of the boom in a small stream. I can see the fluid running down the shaft on the cylinder and dripping into the boom housing itself and running out the bottom. I am asuming it is the seal in the boom cylinder. Can I take this cylinder out myself or does this need to be done at the repair shop? if I can are there any things I should know about that someone could help me with? Thanks for your help

You can certainly fix the cylinder yourself if you have basic mechanical ability and the tools. There are LOTS of threads in the Hydraulics forum about re-sealing cylinders.
