From what I understand, the BH80-X now options a hydraulic thumb. Look into it if you haven't yet done so. Night and day difference between mechanical and hydraulic thumbs.

Does the BH80-X have spare hydraulics on the backhoe or do you have to provide them?

The option of a hydraulic thumb is available but I went cheap, lol.

I don't know. I only found out about the new BH80-X HT offering through a PM and I contacted Woods to verify. Having already a BH90-X, took it no further. If it is anything like mine, all is provided in the option and assembled at the factory.
