I have a bolt clutch assembly on a 2013 Salsco 627 PTO chipper that I bought used. While the chipper is in outstanding shape the prior owner obviously had trouble with the PTO shaft more than once. The lack of missing paint, rust and blades that are in mint condition tell me he tried to do something he shouldn't have.
On the bolt clutch there is a 5/16-18 X 2" bolt with a Nylock nut. Keeping this together if the bolt breaks is a detent ball and a what I assume is a spring loaded zerk fitting that has a M8 thread.
I'm looking for the ball and fitting as there is no need to buy the assembly for 6 bucks worth of parts. Does anybody know of a source for these? I've searched all over the net for a few hours with results of nothing more than a picture.
