Bolens / Iseki H1704 / G174 broken housing

My plumber used my Bolens to backfill a trench on my land after installing a water pipe (could not do it myself due to a broken foot) and used it to transport too big rocks, too sharp turning with 4x4 ... result: a broken housing on the front axle left side !!! Anybody had to weld these, is it weldable? If I can find a good used one, I will replace; looking at all the options or suggestions. Would anybody have the parts manual? Is that housing used on any other model? Where could I find that housing? Thanks for your input. Mike
