No, I don't think it easily happens, but it can happen, and it's just best to make sure it didn't happen!
I don't think these tractors were actually designed for "rice paddys," in Korea, but they're probably used that way. Some of the Yanmars, Kubotas, Iseki's, Mitsubishis and the like were designed for that purpose in Japan.
You probably didn't get anything in your fluids since it wasn't actually sitting in water, but I always check to make sure.
