Bobcat x-change clone

Anybody ever thought about building an interface like Bobcat x-change system on their mini excavators? I like the system, but not the price. The one without hydraulics doesn't look too complicated, but maybe there's more to it that I know about. There is also the other style with the clamping bolt like John Deere and some others have. Any thoughts from more experienced members appreciated.
