I read the notices as two separate actions--an acquisition of Bobcat by Doosan and an agreement between Bobcat and Daedong.

There is nothing on the Bobcat site about Doosan (at least that I can see).

Yes, same country but two different Korean companies. Doosan is the former Daewoo. Daedong is Kioti.

I suspect a Kioti drivetrain, but different hood, fenders, operator's platform & color scheme for Bobcat. This is just speculation on my part, however.

Probably a Kioti(Daedong) of a different color but still a very close
relation.

I agree that the Bobcat tractor will most likely be a re-badged and re-clad Kioti tractor...not that there is anything wrong with that! I seriously considered the Kioti when looking at tractors but the Toolcat was the answer to what type of equipment I needed. What is of interest and debatable discussion is how Bobcat tractors will compete with established Kioti dealers...the Kioti forum has a thread regarding this potential dilemma.
