Bobcat CUT vs. Kubota

I currently own two vintage Kubota Tractors, an L2500 with a loader and backhoe, and a B7200 with a front snow blade and rear mower. Surfing this site and elsewhere, I came upon the new Bobcat Compact Utility Tractors. Hmm! I also own a Bobcat Toolcat 5600c with seven attachments. If the Bobcat CUTs are of the same quality of the Toolcat, I would be willing to trade both Kubota's to purchase one? Any thoughts? Would this be a wise move?

Hi PA,
I don't think Bobcat would stake their reputation on anything but a top notch product.
Evidently they have great faith in the Daedong/Kioti line of tractors and diesel engines.

While speaking of these rebadged Kioti's, has anyone actually had a price quote on any of the New Bobcat compact tractors ?

All I have seen is that they will be priced a bit lower than comparable products.

L2500, a vintage tractor? I think they made that for only a couple of
years (98 and 99, I think). Mine was a 99. 10 y.o. does not a vintage
tractor make, IMO.

I was quoted 17,100.00 for a 30 hp with HST, R-4's and loader. Financing same as Kubotas - 0% - 36 mos. Didn't try to negotiate, no doubt there's quite a bit of wiggle room.

You'll find lots of folks here very happy with their Kiotis. The only difference I can see between the Bobcats and Kiotis are the loader is different, and some white paint.

I know when I was comparing Tractors, the CK25/30 outspecs larger tractors by the other manufacturers in weight and hydraulic capacity. Try one out, I think you'll like it!

I have been looking at CUT's - stopped by the local Bobcat dealer to see when they would get any in stock. Had on on the floor a 25 hp model - CT225 I think. With loader, R4's, deluxe seat and "level" package (mid mount pto I was told) price without tax was $17,850. (says about $1900 off list). Included the 0% for 36 mths. Priced seemed awfully high to me - esp for a 17 pto hp. Now seems even higher when I see davitk's price below. Tractor was beautifully finished and very well built. I would jump at $17,100 for a 30 hp model. I'll pass on the price they quoted me. Same company owns about 5 Bobcat dealers in this area, so if I want a lower price, I'll need to drive a bunch.

That $17100 should get you a CK30HST, loader, R4s, etc.... That price for a White CK25 seems high to me too...

The dealer that I have for all my equipment sells both Kubota and Bobcat. They have informed me that they are not permitted to sell Bobcat Compact Utility Tractors because they also sell Kubota even though they sell all the higher end Bobcat equipment. I don't understand this? Your thoughts!

good business practice, don't upset the apple cart. I would imagine Kubota sales put food on their tables.

One of my bobcat dealers sells both kubota and the new bobcat CUTs. My other bobcat dealer is just selling kubota and I don't believe he has any significant interest in selling Bobcat CUT.
