Bobcat CT450 HST
Hello Kioti folks,

I am under the understanding that the Bobcat Tractors were made by Daedong/Kioti and that there is an equivalent Kioti version to my Bobcat.

I'm hoping you folks can help me suss out a bit more detail, like actual model, known differences, known equivalencies, stuff like that.

I currently need Tie Rod ends and get zero help (actually ignored) by local Bobcat Dealers. I've sent a request to a couple of Kioti Dealers, but as yet no joy.

I have sent a simple , "need tie rods" can you help to the Kioti Corp, to hopefully open a dialogue.

So any help or direction will certainly be appreciated.

Thanks all,

I'm sorry you've been having such a hard time with the Bobcat dealers. I believe your CT450 is very similar the my DK45se.

If your tie rod ends are the same, it will be part #T4520-63624, MIE has them for about $100, see this link:

I cant say for 100% certainty it's the same, but I think its worth looking into.

Robert is the parts person at Michigan Iron and very good at his job. He would definitely know what parts are the same.

Thank you. Yes they were very helpful. General response is the DK45HSE is most like the CT450 HST. Excepting the FEL of course and a few electrical items.

I guess I am always wondering, why the DK45, isn't that a 45hp, while the CT450 is a 50hp? Do we share an identical engine, just a matter of how the manufacturer rates it? Is the HSE a Hydrostatic?

Now I suppose I better relook at the steering and see if it is one cyl or two. I seem to recall it is one.

Thanks again. Perhaps we should start a list of Bobcat - Kioti cross's? Perhaps there is a list. :p

What I have seen for differences is mostly electrical Between the two lines. Why the differences at all, I don't know. The power steering cylinder on my DK35se is a single double acting cylinder, although some manuals will show two cylinders. As far as I know the DK40se DK45se, and DK50se all use the same basic engine but tune it differently. I would assume your Bobcat 450 is tuned more like a DK50se. The engine in my DK35se is a 3 cylinder instead of a 4 cylinder. There is a great commonality of parts across the entire Daedong/Kioti/Bobcat line.

The DKse line is a bit odd in the way they designate themselves (I guess most tractor designations are full this sort of thing). For the HST tractors, sometimes you'll see it as DK45se hst, sometimes DK45hse, and DK45seh. Even my own tractor tractor SN tag and hood lettering don't agree. one saying DK45se, and the other saying DK45HSE

all that aside, I had sent an email to Kioti Corporate to get an answer just to entertain my curiosity. I got a response. its DK45SEH, which again, is different than my SN tag and hood lettering.

At any rate, mine is an HST.
