Have my BX2350 just over a week and put a whole 9 hours on it. Today I turned the headlights on and heard a loud somewhat grinding/clanging noise under the hood. This noise would ONLY appear when the headlights are on. The blinker, hazzards all function free of noise. I looked under the hood but did not see anything misplaced.
While bringing the unit back to the garage, the engine begins to choke and dies. Restarting just causes more choking, and stalls. Further inspection finds a blown 15amp ACC fuse. Replace this, engine starts, all is fine, but try the headlights, and the noise is still there. Too afraid to hurt anything further, so seems no headlights works for me.
Anyone know why this may have happened. What the noise may be (alternator?) and what ACC stands for. I am new to tractors, so any help would be appreciated.
