Blocking the clutch pedal when parked?

I had a l2350 that froze only sitting for 2 wks with no use bad thing was I had put it up for sale and potential buyer was looking at it when it locked up so yes I would highly recommend blocking clutch

We had to repair quite a few Yanmars in the past, so I have split open 3 of them to get the clutch unstuck.
I finally came up with a way to do it without splitting the tractor that worked for us.
It involved a mower and jamming the pto into gear with the clutch pressed in.

I dont recommend anyone here try it, but it worked for us many times.

My John Deere 850 manual recommends locking the clutch pedal down if you are not going to use it for an extended period.
