Does anyone else have trouble with their differential lock binding so bad that it won't engage most of the time? Mine (TC 24D) started out feeling like it was binding when it was new, but I could get it depressed and lock up the rear wheels. Once released, it did not always disengage right away. I just figured it needed to move a short distance to relieve any stress within the differential before it would pop loose. Now less than a year old and only 140 hours, most of the time I can't get it engaged at all except on rare occasion. There is no apparent obstruction on the lever or linkage back to where it enters the differential. I push down hard enough that with sneakers the pedal just gets absorbed into the sole of the shoe. I don't want to force anything beyond the breaking point.
I have a few small swales that I cross on a diagonal where the front right and rear left tires will spin (or visa versa) and I need to lock up the rear to get across. I always try to engage while moving/spinning. Seems like it should be easier than what I am experiencing.
Thanks - Brad
