A while ago I answered a post concerning the general mess that permeates the home when the workshop is incorporated and at that time I mentioned we would be building a detached workshop at the BIL's place in rural CT.
Today was the start for me and the 3130. The machine was transported by a local towing company, I still don't have a trailer.
So here goes, we started in on the big stumps and found a few wee stones...

I rolled this bugger over and knocked a lot of material off so i could get it out of the hole, the pic is sideways, that is an 18' bucket

I put the material back into the hole and biuld a ramp to slide the stump up closer to the entrance, you can see the stump is a bit higher

and she's out with no big trouble

I pushed the bugger about 500' to the "place for stumps".
The ordeal from start to finish was 4 hours. This was a red oak about 30 inches at the cut. There are three more about 24 inches and a beech about 24 inches also. The beach has a serious amount of spider roots, I hope to heaven it doesnt have a tap root since its growing in the rubiks cube of rock.
All in all theres fifty stumps to go. I took this 9" red oak by trenching in fornt and back and just pushing it over with the backhoe. Let me tell you there Ramon49, this machine does not suck.

here's one of the beech's, they don't have any large tap roots, just a myriad of little ones.

here's one of the stone pile so far, that's a coffee cup on the front stone. Some of then are half the size of an office desk. We found a big'un yesterday too large to move up and out, this will likely need need to be coaxed down into a bigger hole alonside I'll get a pic of it when the light is better.
