Just got my 4110 with 46 BH and weather has been very wet here recently, so when I went out to play..uh I mean work, stabilizer pads/feet sunk. Wondering if any wider aftermarket pads/feet are available to displace weight better or I'm I going to have to make some out of old tires? /forums/images/graemlins/confused.gif

If it is that wet out try not raising the back end so much and let the back tires take a little cusion. Also don't raise the front up so it doesn't transfer as much weight on the stabilizers. Do these things and don't dig as hard and it should stay a little higher up in the soft dirt.

see my thread regarding this very issue- click here

the stock pads are useless, and someone should be hung on a tall tree for selling these backhoes with them. after i did this mod, it is MUCH easier to operate the machine now that it doesnt sink into the mud anymore!

Thanks for the common sense and the more complex, yet ingenious recommendations! Back to the mud !!
