Rotary Cutter Big bee agri 72 vs woods 6 foot cutter

Hello I've been bushing hogging my place for years with a 4 foot king cutter and a 5 foot howse cutter love them both but 2 months ago I bought a 45 hp flywheel and 40 hp pto John Deere it went down and I sold my 25 hp jinma and 5 foot howse cutter. So now im in need of a bigger cutter for my jd I found a woods 6 footer at the jd house for a chunk of change and found this big bee cutter for nearly half the price I do not know the max/min gear box hp input is on the big bee and I do some hard cutting and some easy cutting I kno the woods will handle my work or if I could same some money and get the big bee or can any one give me a name of a drag type 7 footer or even 3pt in a decent price range that will hold up please and thank you

You need to be careful to compare Apples to Apples with these mowers. Most companies make standard, medium and heavy duty models in the same size, especially the popular 6 ft size. Hard to compare a medium duty Woods with a light duty something else on either price or performance.

I can vouch for the Woods 720 BrushBull as a rock solid medium duty mower that will out live both of us. I don't think Woods makes a 7ft drag type mower but I could be wrong. Bush Hog does make one which is dual spindle and is pretty decent by reputation. I've heard of Big Bee but never saw one or know much about them.

Big Bee is substandard equipment at best for commercial mowing. If you are mowing perfect lawns once a week you ok but if you mow all day for a living buy something else.

Ok thank y'all I've tried to find parts for the big bee but was unable so I thank I may go with the woods mower thank y'all for yalls help

Big Bee is distributed by Darrel Harp Enterprises in Red Bay, AL (Darrell Harp Enterprises - Home), and possibly by other distributors in other parts of the country. You should be able to find year closest dealers if you contact them. I found several dealers just by searching for Big Bee implements on the internet. HTH.
